RSD is currently customizing SuperSalon for Regis Corporation, the largest salon company in the world with doing business under 60 brands. [Ticker Symbol RGS] This customized version will respect and complement Regis's business rules of North American, European and Asian countries. As a result of the success of this project, Regis recently awarded RSD several more critical path development projects and has made RSD their exclusive vendor for all new Regis franchisees.
RSD is a privately held corporation with the vast majority of stock held by employees. The company was founded in 2003 and has rapidly grown to include over 65 full-time employees, and it has doubled its sales every year since inception. In 2007, RSD was named one of "America's Fastest Growing Private Companies" by Inc. magazine.
Company Leadership
Matt Rogers, President
Matt Rogers has 18 years of experience in the software industry. In the early 90s Matt started a company called SellTech. The first software he and partner created, OnTap!, was awarded 5 stars (the highest rating) by the publishers of PC Magazine. SellTech was soon selected to create a category management software and related documentation for Philip Morris, who used it to support various product lines.
Matt and a partner entered the salon industry as a franchisee for several affordable walk-in concepts in the late '90s. During this time Matt built, staffed and managed four salons. His interest in software design led him to hire two programmers in 2001, and with them Matt began building a new salon point-of-sale (POS) system - with an emphasis on web-based centralized management for multi-location owners.
In 2003 Rogers Software was formed and began commercial sales of the POS system.

Key Staff Members
Steve Daniell , Sales
Steve brings over 20 years of sales, operations and managerial experience to the Rogers team. After several years in the transportation industry in sales and sales management, Steve joined an upstart franchise in the retail travel industry. Ten years rising within that high tech industry gave him the background necessary for success in the franchised hair salon industry.
Steve was recruited in early 2000 to head up Franchising and Operations in the Atlanta regional headquarters of a National Hair Salon Franchisor. Soon after joining, Steve purchased an existing franchised salon while continuing his position with the franchise. He progressed into an equity position with the franchisor with a plan of opening and operating or selling new salons as they were developed. It was during this operational period that he discovered SuperSalon and Steve's salons became among the initial salons to move to SuperSalon software.
Participating during the early development and implementations stages of SuperSalon allowed Steve to learn the product from the ground up, as well as permitting him to have a major influence in the addition of software enhancements.
Steve's franchise operation was sold in 2005 and he joined the SuperSalon team in November 2006.

RSD’s Development Philosophy
RSD appreciates that software development is done differently at every organization, and in every home office throughout the world. The process that one organization or person uses to develop software may work for their specific environment and situation but may fail miserably in another set of circumstances. RSD understands and appreciates that the key to successful software development is the need to understand the business problems of customers and to convert those problems into architectures, convert the architectures into solutions, test the solutions, and deploy the solutions.
RSD employs Project Management Institute (PMI) development and project management methodologies to provide its customers with viable solutions. From requirements gathering during scoping studies through application design, development, testing and implementation, RSD follows detailed, task-based methods that it clearly communicates with its customers to produce quality deliverables on time and within budget.
RSD clearly recognizes that projects are people, and people are relationships. At the heart of these relationships is communication and trust. RSD can provide comprehensive weekly status updates including completion on all line item deliverables, bugs by severity, current project priorities, and alerts relating to any risks that may impact project budget or time line. Strong values-based leadership formulates RSD's culture and contributes to its building customer trust and confidence.
